So the name kind of makes me die inside, but the actual beer isn’t half bad. Tastes mostly like alcohol, and otherwise just a golden ale. Very light body.

Draft at Oregon Brewer’s Festival, Portland, OR. Smalll off-white head that was mostly lasting, spotty amount of lacing, transparent, and a golden hue. Nose was malty, toffee, rich and sweet. Flavor was bitter, hoppy, toffee, rich, and dry tasting. Smooth and dry mouthfeel. Medium body. Fairly well balanced, but nothing all that great to where I would consider having this one again. It’s not a bad beer, it just isn’t anything truly special IMO.

This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a medium sized head of frothy white colored bubbles that were and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated . The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was strongly tingly at the start and weakly tingly at the finish with a lingering vinous aftertaste. The thin flavor contained notes of malt mild hops and floral. An OK brew just nothing special.

This was not bad, just very true to style with a medium bodied and malty mouthfeel, some nice grassy hoppiness, well rounded and balanced.

Round sweetness dominates palate. Medium usage of hops. Very accurate to style, just not the best beer out there.

Pale gold color, light head. Aroma is lightly crisp with hops, some light malts. Not horrible flavors, solid light beer.
