Bottle graciously shared by SoLan. Pours black with a fuzzy tan head. Nose full of dark fruit, strong roast character with coffee and chocolate, berries. Chocolate and fruity in flavor. On the thin side, medium carb.

Bottle… Pours pitch black and sits that way in my glass with a small, creamy, light brown head. Decent retention. The deeply roasted aroma is all dark chocolate, charcoal and espresso with lesser notes of blueberries and black cherries. Medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. Thanks to SoLan! Strong, warm, alcohol and malts smell with a little bit of dried fruit. Flavor is smooth and a mix of cherries and bitter chocolate. Decent stout, but not overly impressive.

22oz bottle shared by Solan, Pours a near black with a small tan head. Nose is alot of chocolate and coffee with a whif of dark fruit maybe? Raisin perhaps? Interesting but nothing really leaps out, The taste is very solid. It has a decent mouthfeel but its pretty dry for a stout. Alot of roasty slightly bitter chocolate and some coffee. A little milkiness. Not trace of the fruit from the nose in the taste. Very solid but not amazing.

Flavour’s dry and roasty along with chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good.
