Commercial Description:
Contract brewed Lager for Phillips' restaurant. Developed like the kind of beer made in Baltimore prior to the prohibition. It's an all malt, mild, amber lager (Selected Baltimore's Best Local Beer 2001)

Draft At Phillips in Ocean City. Pours a pale yellow with a fizzy small white head. Aroma is of grainy malts. Taste is typical lager. Nothing great. It went okay with the seafood buffet, but not a great beer. More of a marketing gimmick for the resturant.

Indeed, nothing really special. Some fresh grainy malt character but little else going for it. Roughly in the "continental lager" style. Contrary to the description, this is a pale gold beer, not amber.
