triquito (6), Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada does not count Aug 30, 2008 650 ml. bottle. What a letdown, I expected much more from this beer. Dark amber red colour with a head that faded away. Aroma and taste is one of artificial raspberry (much like Kool-Aid or Jell-O). Stings in the mouth, not in a good way. Leaves an aftertaste of cheap gaufrette cookie. I generally really like Phillips beers, but this one is bad. Enniskillen (1625), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Aug 24, 2008 Amber/Red with a white head. Aroma is raspberry (fresh, not candy), captain crunch cereal, light wine character and wheat. A nice change for a Raspberry Wheat because it doesn’t taste like candy. beerbuzzmontreal (2769), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Oct 17, 2007 Cloudy reddish amber pour with a ring of white lace. Aroma and flavor of artificial raspberries, eesh. The body is light to medium with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A bad, fake, fruit beer. presario (2501), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 9, 2007 Bottle. Starts with an almost annoying giant bubbly head that sinks down to a light skiff. Seems to be a pink tinge to the golden brew. Tart aroma seems as much leaves and stems as fruit. Pretty straigt forward fruit beer. Must be American Wheat base. Best part is the tart finish. Beershine (1515), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 3, 2007 Strong berry nose. Clear, thin entry that rounds off at the end to yield to the yeasty wheat aftertaste. Pours opaque rose-colored, and looks like a smoothie. Soft mouthfeel, decent carbonation, and some suspended yeast is nice. Creamy head.
