| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 4, 2006 This has been around in my area for a while, but I resisted testing it until I could do a single bottle purchase. Why?
THE EXPECTATION: Diesel fuel with corn syrup overtones, resulting in severe heartburn. THE PREPARATIONS: I spilled twice whilst trying to carry the glass of this fluid out the door, juggling recyclables under the other arm. THE REALITY: I wiped up both spills. Then - I threw said recyclables out the door, then picked up the beer and strolled outside with a smug expression defining my countenance. THE RESPONSIBILITY: I put the oft referred to recyclables in the appropriate recycle bins for pick-up on the morrow. THE REALITY: Just another fizzy yellow brew, comparable to the BMCs. THE TWILIGHT DANCE: The rosebush that my Ex had planted wilted after my having poured out the remaining half of this ubiquitious lager.
And that’s why I didn’t buy a sixer for $7.99.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 19, 2006 Bottle. I spent an entire day traveling around Phuket, Thailand in September 2002 and nearby cities looking for this beer only to find it three years later in San Francisco, CA. A skunk aroma, golden color with a laced white head. A straw flavor with a musty basement finish. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 12, 2006 Very bland lager beer. They told me it’s special because there isn’t any formaldehyde in it. Apparently this country usually puts formaldehyde in their beer to preserve it??? robertjm (413), El Cerrito, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 10, 2006 Actually a very nice pilsner. Reminds me of a Pilsner Urquel, just a little less hoppy. Crystal clear beer. Didn’t have a glass so I can’t comment on the head. dornoy (681), Lyngby, Denmark
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 2, 2006 White head on an ordinary yellow body. Just another typical thirst-quenching beer for hot countries. Nothing remarkable. Drinkable, probably refreshing in Thailand, but nothing more. Ernest (4513), Boulder, Colorado, USA
