Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 9, 2009 Draught. Medium high and lasting white creamy head. Clear golden body. Weak and sweet barley malt aroma. Thin weak and waterz sweet malt flavor with little hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste. NJJereme (261), Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA Jun 20, 2009 16.9 oz. bottle. Poured a golden color w/ a light white head. Malty and a tad metallic. Goes down easy. Light bodied. Nothing noteworthy about it. italianjohn (338), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 23, 2009 Sweet aroma golden color little bit of head that stays slightly sweet taste not a heavy beer .... its an ok brew nothing spectacular 30 bucks for a case of 20 500ml bottles typical for imported brew .... for a pale lager there are better choices but its not offensive its easy drinking average bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Clear golden color with a white head that left promptly. Aromas of grain and spicey hop. Medium body with mild, frothy carbonation. Flavor is nice. Grain and Noble type hop. Fairly crisp and clean. One of the better East Euro lagers I’ve tried. NJBeerman013 (768), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Nov 20, 2008 500 ml bottle. Pours a light golden in color with a large foamy head. The aroma is a bit grassy with somewhat of a sweet honey note. The beer has a a thin, effervesent body, a bit malty in flavor with an evident alcohol kick. The finish is somewhat clean. bsm80 (144), Massapequa, New York, USA Sep 6, 2008 Light orange pour with poor lacing and a thin head. More on the malty side, didn’t get too much bitterness, well balanced, pretty good for a "pale" lager. rocbyter (902), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Aug 26, 2008 Light caramel malt aroma. Clear golden color with a small white head. Lightly sweet in the beginning with a mild grainy finish. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA Aug 12, 2008 23-May-08 (500-ml bottle: Purchased 12-May-08 for $2.29 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) Like other lagers from Poland, this one is not very enjoyable. Aromas of paper, hay, honey and sweet bread lead the way. On the palate, the beer is less sweet than expected, but paper, rice and grainy malts echo the nose. Light in body, medium in carbonation, and low in drinkability due to stale, lingering flavors making me want to brush my teeth and freshen my mouth. A tall, white head that sits on top of the clear, golden-yellow body builds to over an inch before gradually settling to a filmy layer. No lacing. I’ve had worse pale lagers from the Baltic region, but I’ll need something considerably better to make we want to drink one for enjoyment.
