This beer has a very light malt aroma. The appearance is pale gold with a nice head. The flavor is chemical like and dry. The palate is good for the style. While not totally terrible this beer is not good either.

Bottle: Pale yellow color, nice white head and thin lacing. The nose is lightly corny with some tortilla notes and light cheap hop and alcohol. The flavor is semisweet with a honey malt and cheap pilsner malt note, not quite husky or 2-row. The hops are very light, as expected. Light alcohol. Just a semidirty pale lager, not quaffable, not that drinkable. Well then, that about does it here.

.5 liter bottle. Hey, it is a nice looking beer with a good golden color. Smell, though, comes across pretty sugary on top of a standard lager smell. Taste is sorely lacking. Sugary malt just beyond syrup. No matching bitterness. I’d been finding some decent Polish beers, but this isn’t one of them.

Bottle. Pours dark yellow color. Tastes worst than old style. Not a good pale lager.

Aroma is a little gritty. Like sweat. Pours a nice gold color. Not dark amber, but not a light yellow like American macros pour. Head disappears almost instantly. Has a nice bitter backdrop, though not in the aftertaste. i like the bitterness, but the finish is thin & weak. Good, not great. Paid $2.15 for a pint bottle at a liquor store in West Allis, WI. on 11/11/2K6.

Nice golden color, small white head that had a good hang time then faded slowly to leave a slight bit of lace behind. The aroma was light malt some graininess and a slight sweet side, also a bit of a lemony citrus thing going on as well.Light malty taste with some mild citrus in the middle and finishes up with some mild hop bitterness. Not bad,in fact i’m going to have to go against the grain on this one.

Tap, Wroclaw. Smells vinegar and footsweat. Very interesting combination of odors. The beer looks like water, but doesn’t taste that bad. Actually it tastes the same as the first time, and I don’t understand why I tried it again. Has a lot in common with Koff from Finland or Norrlands Guld from Sweden. All too bad.
