Pale golden pour. Lightly citrusy with a little bit of wheaty spiciness and a kiss of cotton candy sweetness. Straw and hay show from the pilsner malt. Grassy and herbal. It’s light, but sessionable.

Tap at brewery: Poured slightly hazy with a solid ring of foam and okay lace. The aroma has notes of lemon and orange zest, clove, wheat, and a touch of sweet honey. The flavor is citric and wheaty and a mild spice finish. A interesting addition of what appears to be piney American hops on the finish. Missing the depth of the Top-Heavy Hefeweizen (along with the yeast character I love). The feel is very lively and crisp but a tad watery. A standard average American Wheat.

On tap at Piece. Poured a hazy straw golden with a short white head. Lots of lemony-wheat, candy sweetness, and a bit of banana in the nose. Lemon tartness and Lemonhead sweetness in the flavor, with an odd undertow that I couldn’t place. Odd, almost slimy feel on the palate. I just didn’t click with this one.

I tried two wheats here and they both rocked ... this one was shiny yellow and only partly cloudy, just like the weather. Nice lemony aroma, citricly fruity flavor .. .nice summer brew.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy yellow orange color with a thin white head. Smelled of citrus fruit, subdued caramel, and cereal grain. Light bodied and tangy without being tart. There was a delicious fresh cereal grain flavor accompanied by delicate citrusy hops. Not bad.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy bright yellow in color with a medium-thick white hear that clings lacing to the glass. Aromas of wheat, lemon and citrus. Flavor has a mild bisquit-like wheat body. A suggestion of cloves and perhaps a dash of banana. Medium body.

on tap, pours hazy lemony color with white head. nose is citrus and lemon. flavor is nicely balanced with citrus, lemon, and good hop kick. i actually enjoyed this a lot and found it rivals gumballhead pretty well.

Pour is hazed golden yellow with a thin soapy white head...smell is grainy and malty and lightly sweet...taste is lightly sweet and grainy with a faint citric note...
