Dark brown hue with a taupe ring of head. Anise and raisins & a touch port in the nose. Roasty toasty. Spotty head. Medium bodied. Toffee and anise flavors. English style. Mix of bark and toast with dark fruit and burnt sugar. Even throw a touch of smoke into the mix. Not quite my style. Gonna give it the meh... Medium-bodied and quite drinkable. Well made.
