| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 14, 2007 Tap at Piece: Hazy medium golden hue with a mostly lasting frothy head and okay lace. The aroma has notes of pineapple and orange zest esters, a slight resiny and herbal hops vapour, some biscuity and sweet malt too.
The taste is a balanced display of fruity and herbal hop bitterness kept in check mostly by pale and crystal malt. Some Grains of Paradise peppery notes on the finish. The mouth feel is aggressive and biting around the edges, medium-bodied and a lingering metallic aftertaste. All in all a very nice IPAish brew and am I glad to not missed it this time. Get ya some. (Still don’t get the whole Egyptian thing though) bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 30, 2007 One of my favorite beers from Piece, wish it was on tap more often. This beer smells the best and it is over powering with hops. Great flavor and very strong since I believe it is around 10%. You have to love the name. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2007 I think ordering this was a bit of a mistake. Its ok but it definetly wasnt much like a pale ale. Also, it was my first of the night and wanted something that wasnt such a sipping beer. Too sweet and almost syrupy but not in the way that most pales are. Hazy stuff is Piece’s calling card, but this doesnt need it. MoDog (927), Griffith, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 10, 2007 On tap at Piece Brewery, and served in a tulip. This brew poured a slightly hazy, glowing, golden/orange color with a small, quickly fading beige head. A bit of light lacing was left around the glass. The aroma was made up of grapefruit, orange, toffee, and also some pine. The flavor was similar to the aroma, along with a dry, bitterness, and also some light warming alcohol at the finish. The mouthfeel was very smooth and medium to full-bodied with light carbonation. Very drinkable, considering most other DIPAs have a very resiny/oily texture. This was an excellent brew, and it goes perfectly with their pizzas. nhorween (640), Chicago, Illinois, USA
