Draught at brewery. To some degree, I am a little surprised that this is the first beer with the name "camel toe" on Ratebeer, and as such, likely the only beer with that name in the world. Secondly, I’m a little surprised I’m the first person to rate it considering how much some of my fellow Chicago AREA ratebeerians get off on being the first to rate a beer. Mr. Cutler did an excellent job on this brew. Very nice, perfumy, hop aroma. Beautiful, peach color. Lasting, creamy, slightly off-white head with outstanding lace. Strong hop profile. Relatively sweet. Creamy mouth feel. A really great brew. I could drink many of these. This brew could make some waves.

I would totally have this one again in this fine, fine establishment. Nose is a burst of cream, all kinds of citrus, maybe a bit of tart watermelon. Malt is nicely balanced in the full, dank flavor. Just the right amount of weed to keep this interesting. Really good. Some light pepper notes as wellsies.

NotLA. This is what i voted for #1. Big citrus hops in the aroma and flavor. Lots of malty sweetness. I think i had 3 glasses of this. It doesn’t really stand out much from the other super hoppy Piece beers but that’s ok because they are all awesome. Copper/red with a off-white head.

On tap at Piece. Clear peachy/amber pour with a moderate cap of whitish head. Aroma found sweet and juicy pears, grapefruit, caramel, and some darker alcohol notes.. intense and wonderfully entrancing! Flavor found sweet caramel, toffee, and grapefruit meat at the core with hefty doses of pear, grapefruit, and floral bitterness.. some alcohol and rummy fruits toward the back. Thicker-bodied and a touch heavy on the booze as it neared room temp.. wonderful beer overall!

Um, yeah. This was one hell of a pleasant surprise when I visited the brewpub in January. Great hops and a nice malt balance. Lots of fruity nug hop taste. Thick and almost creamy. More fruit than most imperial IPAs. Awesome.

#999, On tap at the brewery at the Jan 2007 Chicago Area Gathering. An awesome beer shared with an awesome group of friends. Beautiful, golden hazy going towards copper that looks warm and glowing. Its almost like light comes from its center. You could light a cave with this thing. Big very long lasting foamy off pale had that is drity dusty tan. Wow what a great head. Nose is huge with lots of hops and grapefruit with a nice undercoat of pine and sugar. The taste is sharp piney and crisp with lots of sappy and suggary maltyness. THis is by far one of the best looking beers I have ever drank. The taste doesnt dissapoint as well.

Draught at the brewpub
Muddy light amber color. Huge hoppy aroma, fruity (bitter oranges) and resiny. Medium body strength, malty, huge hopping, resiny and fruity, with light astringency. Excellent.

GABF 2007: Poured a hazy golden color with an off-white head. Huge fresh aroma of C hops. Grapefruit juice flavor. Medium bodied.
