Medium off white creamy head sits atop a hazy orange golden colored body. Nice lacing. Nose is pine, citrus, sugar, and flowers. Taste is the same with additional pink grapefruit. Mouthfeel is silky smooth and the finish goes on for days. Nice beer.

(10/11/08) Draught at the brewpub in Chicago. Deep hazy amber with medium off-white head. Aroma full of very citrusy hops and some floral notes. Bitter hoppy flavor with lots of citrus (grapefruit, a bit of lemon), a rather low (but it’s there) malt profile with caramel notes and a bit of fruitiness (peach, apricot). Nicely rounded-mouthfeel. A very nice well-hopped IPA.

tap at piece.... pours a semi-opaque dark orange brown with a thin wispy off-white head.... bitter citric hoppy nose, partially floral in nature. smells pretty nice with a slight maltiness to it..... flavors were a combintation of pineapple and citrus hops, lightly bitter but quickly smoothens out. sweetens up towards the finish. just a tad thin on the palate but very much drinkable. solid.

Draft at the brewpub. Listed as 6.5% ABV on the chalkboard. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was thick, off white, and left some lace behind on the glass. Pleasant melange of aromas including the likes of grapefruit, flower blossom, apricot, and subdued toffee. Light to medium bodied with moderate hop bitterness. Some sugars lingered on the lips after the bitterness waned. Tasted mostly of grapefruity hops, mango, and apricot with some toasted bread and caramel in the background. Very nice IPA. Not so much a double IPA, IMO.

Yet another big winner in their lineup of hoppy pale ales. This one seemed to be more citrusy, but it had enough backbone to carry it. Not sure if i would call it a DIPA, but thats just a nametag. I will definetly be hitting thins one up again.

Hyper-fruity, slightly floral, pine-caramel IPA aroma. Bright orange-brown, nearly clear. Really good AIPA - standard qualities. Grapefruit, caramel. Light brine, caramel in the finish. Brisk, carbonated mouth, lingering spiciness.

On tap @ Piece. I loved the noble hops aroma and flavor of this beer. Very floral. I could of just sat there with my nose in it for a while enjoying the aroma. Nice balance. Slightly sweet with a crisp hop finish.

Pour is ruddy golden with a thin off white head...smell is toasty and sweet with lots of pine and grapefruit...tast is faintly sweet with a great grapefruity bitterness coming through at the end...excellent!
