Clear apple juice body with medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, yeasty, faint herbal and lime. Taste is medium sweet, finishing with mild herbal/grassy bitterness. Hoppiness increases as the beer warms. Highly carbonated, light body.

Draft… DLD’08… Hazy, straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Great, tight, creamy retention. The restrained aroma is of earthy, piney and grapefruity PNW hops. Light-bodied, but creamy, with modest carbonation. Lots of citrus and pine bitterness flanking moderate toffee sweetness. Crisp, bitter, dry finish.

Tap at Piece: Clean light gold hue with a fading fizzy head. The aroma has notes of grains, biscuity malt, apple esters, grassy hops and a hint of soap. The taste is pretty much what I expected, mild pale malts and light-handed bitterness in this session ale. A bit musty tasting too. The mouth feel is sprite and light-bodied. A ho-hum ale, drinkable with pizza but nothing you need to go outta way to get.

On tap at Piece. Poured clear paler golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma was soft with bready and honey notes accented by dusty lemon zest and floral hoppage.. pleasant. The flavor had more of the honey with grassy and lemon bitterness.. softer and well-balanced, but the sweetness was too focused on the honey.. bitterness was light. Lighter-bodied and very dry on the palate with a refreshing finish.

Draft at Piece. Decent looking beer, yellow with a small but lasting foamy head. Nice malt profile is both light and sweet, delicate and grainy. Magnificent.

Everyone likes a pretty blonde in the Summer!! This is a great session ale with very, very tame malt presence and a hoppy ending. Light throughout, this golden pintfull, with it's beautifly lacing head and light grassy aroma, could easily be introduced to your macro drinking friends as well as enjoyed by the serious beer hunter. Very nice to the last drop. Order another and another and still feel good when you leave (unless you pigged out on a pizza, as I did)

Tasted 4/30/08. 6th sample from the brewpub. Hazy with a golden straw hue. White lacing head. Yeasty citrus and melons in the nose. Touch lemon/lime note. Bready and wheaty. Citrus. Ever so slight Crunchberry flavor. Muddled and a touch peppery. Too tart. Good hop presence, but unmelded with the yeast character.Just off.
