Light brownish amber. Hazy. Big C-hopped nose - a little grapefruit accent. All hops, this beer, malts reduced to understated biscuits. Tasty but unbalanced, which limits it as a beer.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy light amber color. Nice hoppy aroma, less malty and more fruity than the Camel Toe. Medium body strength, malty, extremely hoppy. Similar to Camel Toe, just less strong and sweet, but as much hopped, fruity, resiny. Excellent.

Clear copper body with small beige head. Aroma is pine/grapefruit. Taste is intensely hoppy -- pine up front, grapefruit-floral in the back half. Moderately sweet. Medium/full body. Solid beer.

Draft... post-DLD06... Hazy, yellow ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Looked nothing like the piture on this site. My description also seems to differ from most others’. Peppery, citrusy nose with tons of grapefruit and pine. Malty flavor, but equally hopped for balance. Notes of honey and grapefruit rind. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes bitter, tangy and dry.

Sampled from a growler at the post DL06 tasting: Pours a clear transparent golden with a nicely-lacing white head. Fresh piney hoppy aroma has a good sweet pale malty balance. Body starts with nice, lightly sweet, sticky pale malty flavor. Finishes very smooth with fresh piney hop bitterness throughout. A nicely-balanced and enjoyable beer.

Pale amber pour. Thick white head. The nose is nice and fresh with a lot of fresh pine and grapefruit. A little bit of lean zestiness. Soft palate with the bitterness showing a fairly restrained quality. It isn’t as if they skimped on hops here. Lean-bodied and quite tasty.
