Overall a good beer, smells nice, tastes smooth and has a chocolaty after taste. I’m so used to stouts that leave a bad aftertaste and this does not. Brought a growler of it home.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours black with a medium sized creamy head. This is a irish style dry stout which are normally pretty boring. But not this one. Very well balanced with notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla and dark fruits. Yum.

A decent Stout. On tap at Pizzeria. Dark black pour, some nice roasted malts in the nose. A few notes of chocolate and coffee. On the dry side. Medium mouthfeel.

Black as night with a creamy beige head. Very good. Aroma has good chocoolate, coffee and tons of roast. Flavor is smooth and creamy. Lots of good dark chocolate and strong roasted coffee on the tongue. This is a bit dry, but very flavorful.

Tap at Piece Post DLD ... deep red brown ... sweet toasted malt nose ... big soft chocolate ... lots of malts ... little caramel ... nice but not deep and rich and dark enough.

O please... this is better than 59%! Pours a clear glowing mahogany with little head. Nice roasty malty creamy chocolate aroma. Flavor follows, roasted malts, maybe some oatmeal, chocolate and coffee. The only downside is the light body and soda carbonation, however I guess that makes it easier to drink with their pizza.

Nice dark, chocolate color stout. Semi-sweet, but mostly bitter flavor. Some roasted flavors, chocolate as well. This was served way too cold.

Deep black over red, under oily and tan. Fruity aroma with an oily coffee bean presence. Roasted and thin, bittersweet with coffee and mild chocolate. Oiliness with astringency makes for an odd, bitter finish. (Rating #10 for this, so let’s see if I make it or break it...)
