Pretty solid pale. Seems a lot like Sierra Nevada, which I wont complain about. Lots of good hops, but I’m not sure they went to the right place. Maybe a bit watery. But the hop profile is impressive. It’s aight.

tap at piece on 01/03/09... hazy caramel orange brown pour with a soapy sustaining off-white head... crisp critrus hop aroma makes enough of a presence but is not overly assertive... crisp and lively citrus hop flavor with a fair amount of grapefruit/orange rind bitterness in the finish while the middle end kept it less bitter and more sweet. a very nice sessionable brew. i might have enjoyed this just a tad more than what my score portrays.

Share a growler of this tonight. Pours hazy orange with nice thick white head. Aroma is citrusy and fruity with hops and caramel malts. Flavor is crisp and refreshing with big citrus flavor with hops and light fruits. Nice malt balance. Medium mouthfeel. Really good fresh pale ale.

On tap at Piece. This beer combines all my favourite elements of American beers. Fruity, sweet with flavours of peaches and apricots, it gives way to a very powerful citrus and resin kick. This is an excellent APA. If only Piece would open an outpost in the East Midlands of England...

Objectively speaking: A remarkably well-brewed pale ale with brilliantly extracted hop flavours.
I like: Full-malted, but the sharp, cleansing carbonation attenuates the thickness impression. Sandy, spicy, resinous nose. Clean, bready, toasted malts. Rather complex hop profile. Very interesting for one so small. Beautiful hazy amber colour. Lacy white head. Great balance between dryness and sweetness.
I dislike: While attenuating thickness, the hard bubbles diminish drinkability because they do bite!

Draft at BP- Wow. This one is so good, I wish I could have taken it home. Deliciously hoppy, and slightly out of balance, this amber colored beer was great from first sniff to last drop. Well done.

GABF 2007. A hazy light golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet grassy combined with notes of peaches, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry grassy and bitter finish.

Pour is hazed orangey amber with a thin dense off white head...smell is grapefruity and citric with a faint hint of sweet caramel...taste is stsrongly bitter with lots of grapefruit...lightly grainy finish...
