Deliciously hoppy, and slightly out of balance, this amber colored beer was great from first sniff to last drop. Well done. TwoDudes (77), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

Full Frontal is one of the best beers I have ever had...ever. Grapefruit and a bit of pineapple just jump out of the glass. Ridiculous balance of hops and malt cuts the bitterness of the hops and just lets the flavor dominate. I can’t say enough good things about this beer. I love it.... albertane (376), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England

Fruity, sweet with flavours of peaches and apricots, it gives way to a very powerful citrus and resin kick. This is an excellent APA. If only Piece would open an outpost in the East Midlands of England... jimbowood (955), Athens, Georgia, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2007 On tap and enjoyed a couple pints with JSquire and MrFacto: Slight hazy light amber with a fading head but left very good in it’s wake. The aroma has notes of fresh citric and herbal hops, biscuity malt, sage and mint, and dusty yeast esters.
The taste starts with a hoppy and fruity overtone, fresh resiny hops abound. Lovely soft and chewy pale malt gets ya in the middle. The finish has a light pepper and clove tone. The mouth feel is lively, crisp and refreshing. A very enjoyable beer indeed and I can see why it won a medal at the GABF. I dig it and you need to get ya some. Nose is rather hoppy with lots of pine and sap. Taste is very tangy citrusy with an awesome amount of citrus orange peal and just a bit of alcohol that is smothered in evergreen. Very good, very good for style. BTW, I was told by the waiter that this was an IPA not an APA. Either way its a overhopped APA or a spot on IPA. Its just awesome.
