Draught at GABF 2008. Clear yellow - white head. Hay, straw, citrus, crispy, sweetness, grainy, white bread, nice clean kölsch.

Holden hue with a soft head that settled into a nice bubbly film. Slight sweet malty, mostly tart, kolsch flavor with a slight hop finish.

Clear yellow with some small white head. Smell is doughy and malty sweet. Bubbly palate that almost feels cotton-like. Overall, drinkable and light. Not bad at all.

Tasted 4/30/08. Sample 7 from the brewpub. Lively with a golden hue. White head. Floral yeasty aromas with a note of...yeah, Chinese food. Bready and toasty. Mild effervescence. Tart and bitter. Touch banana and fried food? In such a bad way. I’m writting this off to contamination or a dirty glass. Because this was terrible!

Draft… DLD’08… Lightly hazed yellow ale with a mid-sized, foamy, white head. Fantastic retention. Nice nose on this one… yeasty with a touch of perfume and nice biscuit notes. Medium-bodied and very creamy with lively carbonation. Well-balanced with moderate pale grain sweetness and a crisp, medium bitter hop bite. Snappy hop finish.

Pours very golden with a whitish light head. Smell is bready, lagery maltiness and slighty sweet. Taste is on the sweet malty side and is very crisp, refreshing and bubbly. Very easy drinking and a pretty damn good kolsch, I thought. Solid beer.

Aroma is a deilicate grain of Egadzis is a fag. Mellow corn with a nice mellow hoppiness. I could drink this beer all night.

Mostly clear, deep yellow gold. Efferevescent. Bready, crisp, moderately bitter. Very enjoyable. One of the best I’ve had in the style -- I’m not a Kolsch lover.
