| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. The body was slightly hazy gold. The aroma was aples with some hay. There was also a note of dried flowers. The taste was bread crust with some soybeans. There were also hints of herbs in the finish. This was nice and light. alexanderj (2286), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 15, 2007 Draft. Did not enjoy this very much. It was like drinking stale, crappy popcorn. Grain and corn. golubj (1300), Sunnyvale, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 10, 2007 On tap. Pours clear pale straw-yellow. A perpetual stream of bubbles from the sides and bottom of the glass constantly feed a thin, snow-white head that never, ever goes away. Aroma is fruity and crisp with a pungent bitter hop nose. Flavo is quite pilsner-like but with a more fruity character. A notable bready, almost adjunct-y taste shows at the back of the tongue and roof of the mouth. Light to medium body with a lively, tingly palate. It’s a boring style but they do it right. JoshuaB (428), Detroit, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Not one of my favorite styles, especially in the winter. With that said, this beer is highly quenchable. b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 9, 2006 It was a while ago that I had this at the Piece Bar in Chicago, but it was very tasty- tasty enough to be the only thing I drank that night. The pizza there, however, was not that great- too thin, greasy. Beer was definitely worth listening to hours of bad karaoke. pbrmeasap (1), USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 27, 2006 It must suck as a brewer to execute such an excellent and stylistically correct rendition of a Kolsch bier and have it’s brilliance lost on perhaps 90% of the nitwits who drink and comment on it. It is one of the best examples of the style that you will find anywhere in the U.S. and World Beer Cup and G.A.B.F judges apparently agree. Anyone comparing this to "Bush" or "Miller Light" is showcasing their ignorance of the style, their underdeveloped palate and complete lack of credibility to judge or comment on this beer.
