Fantastic retention. Nice nose on this one… yeasty with a touch of perfume and nice biscuit notes. Medium-bodied and very creamy with lively carbonation. Well-balanced with moderate pale grain sweetness and a crisp, medium bitter hop bite. Snappy hop finish. Cornfield (4981), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

Thin and watery, it presents a sweet ale with light fruits, cherries and mayhaps plums, and only a hint of bready malts. I was surprised to see this classified as a Kölsch.

Very brilliant golden, lightly cloudy; nose is minimally malty at first with some nice fresh hay coming in when warmer. Totally outstanding flavor balance, with huge fresh grassiness and moderate fresh piney hops, light caramel and a touch of lemon...just a bit too highly carbonated at the end, but wonderfully juicy without being over-sweet and with just enough dryness towards the finish. I love Kolsch! heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA

There was also a note of dried flowers. The taste was bread crust with some soybeans. There were also hints of herbs in the finish. This was nice and light. cgarvieuk (4269), Edinburgh, Scotland

Mild pale malts and some citrus provided a simple and light nose... pleasant. Pale malts and corn husk were found in the flavor. Easy drinkin’ and simple.. tasty. Light and crisp (never watery) on the palate. Certainly drinkable with no real flaws.
