| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2005 On tap. Hazy copper with a thin foamy head. The name implies that this should be nice and hoppy, however, I found that the hop presence was fairly muted even for a standard pale ale. Had a bit of a metallic aftertaste but otherwise fine. barenada (211), Georgetown, Indiana, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | Aug 3, 2005 (draft) An otherwise bland vehicle for a bitter hoppy aftertaste. What’s the point? Probiere (992), Iowa, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2005 An abundance of C-hops and caramel in the aroma. Taste is grapefruit/resin x3 in start and middle, acidic thin mouthfeel. Mayeb this is to someone’s taste, but not mine. Finishes with a hint of caramel and coffee. kwoeltje (1333), Manchester, Missouri, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Good pizza and beer. Did not get the hop taste implied in the name. Cirtrus aroma and taste present. Maybe my impresion is just poor because I had a three floyds before this beer. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2005 Frost-hazed coppery body with a creamy, cream-colored, filmy head. Orange and pine in the nose with a bitter flavor that was malt-complemented. Creamy and oily in the mouth with lingering orange flavor.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2005 Sparkling deep amber, fizzy thin tan head. Nose held notes of sweet citrus, caramel, and light pine. It lacked in the flavor department and reminded me a bit of dirty earthy grapefruit juice. Light to medium bodied, zesty carbonation, dry, earthy, citric finish. Not horrible, but it didn’t hold a candle to the hefe or rye bock...
