This has a hazy look, possibly light amber (Darned brewpub lighting!) with a modest white head. The aroma is mainly tart orange, orange peel, and a whiff of pine, the malt barely eking out. Not much bitterness to the beer, mainly orange with some pale malty sweetness. Not very interesting.

From a growler, thanks Mike and Mark. The body was dark amber with a khaki head. The aroma was grapefruit and toast. There was also some nutty almonds. The taste was grapefruit somw with some toast. There was also some apple core. A decent pale.

Growler. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was off white and reduced in about one minute. Aroma was of caramel, cereal grain, lemon, and subdued grapefruit. Light bodied with mild hop bitterness. I tasted graham cracker up front with some grassy hops, and toffee toward the end. Not bad.

Clear, light orange beer. really nice balance of fruit, hops, malt. Not in-your-face. Pretty good for a standard APA.

on tap at piece of course. pours hazy golden-orange with thin white head. nose of piney, citrus, and spicy hop notes. flavor has a big piney hop bitterness with some leathery spicy hop notes mixing with a grainy malt taste. a bitter beer but lacks interesting an hop profile. i normal love piece’s hoppier offerings but this beer needs some remodeling.

Sparkling deep amber, fizzy thin tan head. Nose held notes of sweet citrus, caramel, and light pine. It lacked in the flavor department and reminded me a bit of dirty earthy grapefruit juice. Light to medium bodied, zesty carbonation, dry, earthy, citric finish. Not horrible, but it didn’t hold a candle to the hefe or rye bock...

Frost-hazed coppery body with a creamy, cream-colored, filmy head. Orange and pine in the nose with a bitter flavor that was malt-complemented. Creamy and oily in the mouth with lingering orange flavor.

Hazy amber-orange hue, with a mall white head, nice floral hop leafy nose, with some lemon, grapefruit note, with some piney, cedary accents, and a light toasty malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good citrusy, piney flowery hop charater, with some resiny, coniferous, juicy leafiness accent, with a faint caramelized malt note leading towards a faint malty, hop piney bitternees finish.
