This wasn’t bad, but it could have used some improvement. A bit of chocolate and caramel in the nose and a bit of sweetness from the oats, and maybe just a hint of gamey leather there as well. Good roasted flavor throughout but was just a little bit light in the loafers. Needs some tweaking and it will be delicious.

Aroma is of roasted malt, oat, caramel, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is of oat, coffee, and chocolate. Has a backbone of roasted malt and a decent amount of caramel. Has some smokey undertones to it as well. Lots of lingering sweet chocolate. Mouthfeel was light, but not too thin. A very drinkable beer. chicagodri (1057), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nose is of roasted malt, touch of smoke, and coffee. A little bit of a light body for a stout, but very drinkable. Good roast flavor though. I ordered the beer because I had never seen it and was a little worried when I saw it was 4.5% ABV. However, I was happy this beer actually had some flavor. Bring on the new beers Piece.
