| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clearish, dark amber body with a thin, wispy, white head.
Smell: Meager malt aroma with some light toasty hints to it, but then, oh dear, there are some slight sourish fruit hints as well. I’m getting too old for this.
Taste: Toasty malts with a mild sweetness washed down by a gulp of clean, clear tap water. This is followed by a disappointingly tart, light taste of apricot. Some citrusy hops and a light bitterness make a noble attempt to mask the off-flavors. Drying finish with a remaining tartness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: After finishing a dose of PP Amber, it’s hard not to look as bummed out and downtrodden as the dude on the front label. I’m really starting to have some severe misgivings about this brewery. SSSteve (2064), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 10, 2009 Dark amber body with a thin off white head. The aroma was malty and alcoholic with some cheap orange juice. There was also a little bit of rotting almonds. The taste was sweet old toffee and rotting almonds. There was also a little bit of orange peel, but it hides behind the nasty malt body. This seems flat and under carbonated. There is a strange slightly tart note. milljam (569), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 25, 2009 Pours a hazy golden orange. Aroma contains notes of caramel and biscuit malt, with a faint hint of hops. Flavor is bland, with only minor notes of malt. Finish is watery. Overall, not much stands out with this beer. As an amber, it should be sweeter and have more mouthfeel. webbcreative (111), , Oklahoma, USA

The pour is a murky dark amber with a two finger fizzy crackly yellowish head. The nose lends to a mild infection, fruity/acetic character, sour malt, mild earthiness, leafy hop feel. The flavor is similar, slick mouthfeel, sourness, strange fruitiness. Mouthfeel is crisp with a mild acetic character.
