(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on October 17, 2007. Pours a clear, amber body and a frothy white heaad. Nose of citrus and coriander. Flavour is average bitterness with a good spiced finish. Somewhat thin compared to the other heavy English malted beers. Good.

Hazy copper-amber colour. Hugely estery and herbal aroma - kaffir lime leaf, coriander, lemon balm. The flavour is none of the above - a bland, surprisingly clean amber with an almost cinnamony finish.

On Tap at Pike Pub: An odd style, handed to me as a "Weiss" yet Amber in color, hazy with a small white head. A very light scent of citrus. A weak flavor, soda water with a lemon spritz. Rather bland.

Cloudy amber with a small head and some lacing. Small wheat aroma with some citrus, but it’s all very faint. The flavor has a strong malt character backed by wheat. Some hints of citrusy lemon. The hops are mild. Lingers with a slight sour and tangy palate.

Tap@Pike. Not too bad, wheaty characters are obvious, dry and nutty, lightly yeasty and clovey, pretty decent drink.
