(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on October 17, 2007. Pours a clear, amber body and a frothy white heaad. Nose of citrus and coriander. Flavour is average bitterness with a good spiced finish. Somewhat thin compared to the other heavy English malted beers. Good.

Mediocre hef. Clean aroma but not mch flavor. Darker in color than expected. A bit of citrus in the flavor.

Hazy copper-amber colour. Hugely estery and herbal aroma - kaffir lime leaf, coriander, lemon balm. The flavour is none of the above - a bland, surprisingly clean amber with an almost cinnamony finish.

On Tap at Pike Pub: An odd style, handed to me as a "Weiss" yet Amber in color, hazy with a small white head. A very light scent of citrus. A weak flavor, soda water with a lemon spritz. Rather bland.

on tap at pike. murky amberish shade of golden. slightly earthy wheaty aroma, thankfully not too sweet, lightly lemony, drinkable but not particularly complex
