Pike Golden Ale(RETIRED) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Commercial Description: Style developed by ale brewers to approximate pilsner and other pale lager styles. Golden ales tend to be staw to deep gold in color, with a light hop aroma and slightly sweet and fruity taste. Taste A new world ale with a nod toward German style. A medium hopped beer with a complex malt character, and a soft creamy head. Mild and fruity with very light yeast esters of apricot and orange. It is a refreshing and crisp session beer, with just enough hops to balance and round out the sweetness of the malt.
