It poured a light amber, very clear, with a small white head and light lacing. Nose is mostly of malts and hops;. Medium mouthfeel and flavor is somewhat sweet. There is a little fruit and bit of herbal taste. Mild finish. hophead75 (1954), Boonton, New Jersey, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Bottle, Brewery Creek Dark golden-amber colour. Toasty, caramelly, mushroomy earthiness in the aroma. Flavour starts woody - this is both anglohop and toasty malt - and gathers up a little bit of brown sugar sweetness as it goes. Too damn clean for style. Finishes more caramelly and mushroomy than anything else, like you caught the ovation but missed the show. LyndaNova (493), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Lightly hazed brown copper, thin head, decent lace. Aroma of tangy fruit and light caramel malt. Flavor is bolder than the aroma - caramel malt is prevalent. Refreshing tangy fruit around the edges. Citrus hops flavor is in the background, but very complimentary. Nice balance. Body north of medium, moderate carbonation. Smooth drinking.
