Feb 12, 2007 Draught sampler at the brewpub. Ruby-copper colour. Sweet nose with a slight smokiness. Nice, full mouthfeel. Interesting sweetness in the flavour - fruity and a bit peaty with a herbal finish. Yeah, I like.

Jun 25, 2004 Bottle pours reddish golden, small white milkish head, very light carbonation, with spotty lacing. Aroma of malts, some toffee or caramel, and light smokiness. Forwardly smokey, slighty peaty/malty, with some semi-sweet character. Finishes with a slight bitterness, but moreso a malty semi-sweet caramel flavor. Jul 21, 2005 This was a good beer. Pike has some others that are also just as nice. The flavor was very nice and the hint of peat added to the hops flavor. I like what Pike is brewing.

Apr 7, 2009 On tap at Pike in Seattle. Caramelly in color. Aroma was pretty light; with some caramel and peat, but not much. Flavor was smoky, peat, caramel. A bit harsh on the palate, which was a bit detracting. Still it was ok.
