Jan 10, 2003 Sweet, with sometimes bitter aftertaste. Can taste and feel the alcohol when downing a six pack of the stuff. Good Scottish ale.

Aug 23, 2005 Nice orange color, rather ododrless. Has an orange-apply flavor with a mild hop prescence. A nice solid beer.

Mar 31, 2004 It pours a whisky brown with a tawny head that evaporates pretty quickly. Sturdy, malty aroma. Solid flavor- hits the tongue and holds on with the malty sweetness while hitting the roof of the mouth with an alcoholic tang.

Jun 25, 2004 Bottle pours reddish golden, small white milkish head, very light carbonation, with spotty lacing. Aroma of malts, some toffee or caramel, and light smokiness. Forwardly smokey, slighty peaty/malty, with some semi-sweet character. Finishes with a slight bitterness, but moreso a malty semi-sweet caramel flavor. This is a rather easy to drink, non-offensive Scotch Ale. Slight smokey on the aftertaste. Fairly tasty this is...

Aug 3, 2004 This is an interesting beer that I couldn’t really get my taste buds around. it had lots of flavor but I couldn’t really figure out where it was going. A very decent beer though with good taste.
