Fruity malt body and it just may have a slight aluminum foil sourness to it. I.C.suds (187), Da U.P. eh?, Michigan, USA

I finally realized the definition of ’peaty’ when I tasted this. A little pricy, especially when more actual Scottish ales are arriving more often. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

I thought it was very light bodied for a Scottish. It was nicely tart, and pleasently fruity. Finished a nicely smoky. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Aroma of butterscotch and light cat pee. In mouth, a more astringent hops over very robust caramel, with treacle in finish, a bit peaty, but the hops are again very herbal, and the profile is veering towards an Orval (Brett). Interesting but definite infection. Bottle from Sherbrooke Liquors, Edmonton, Early 2007. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

Earthy smokey aroma, flavour is malty with a fair bit of smoke and on the bitter side for a scotch ale. Decent at first but I imagine this beer would get boring quickly. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA
