Commercial Description:
A mildly hopped beer with a complex malt character, and a soft creamy head. Soft and fruity with light yeast esters of apricot and orange. It is a refreshing and crisp session beer, with just enough hops to balance and round out the sweetness of the malt. 34 IBU 1.048 OG

12 oz bottle labeled best before Sept. Poured a medium and clear golden color with a large sized white head. Aromas of lemons and some sweet malts. Tastes of the same but had a lightly sour finish.

Draft at Pike Pub, Seattle. Pours a clear, bright amber with a lacy white head. Inviting peach and citrus aroma. Light body and medium carbonation. A bit of toffee in the taste. Dry pine finish that is also a bit grainy. The bitterness builds a bit as I get closer to the bottom of the glass.

On tap at Pike Pub, Seattle. Golden with off white head. Attractive grapefruit hop aroma. Nice in mouth grapefruit and tangerine flavour. Great tasting beer, hops on end are not too extreme, bit juicier than JHB, bit fuller malt, but nearly as good. Very drinkable.

tap at the brewpub - Pours light gold with a thin head. The aroma is mildly malty and has a touch of hops. The flavor is actually pretty well balanced. I was presently surprised that a blonde ale had a decent amount of hops. I thought it was overcarbonated and thin, but this is alright for a light session brew.

12 oz bottle via Liquid Solutions. Pours a clear golden copper with a very small head. Aroma of flowery citrus lemony hops. Taste is a very refreshing one that starts with caraeml, then lemon, and finishes with some freah bread and orange. Well carbonated fizzy finish. And there was even some strawberry in the middle somewhere. A somewhat lingering mildly bitter aftertaste. Good sumer session beer.*********11/16/06 rerate---scored the same except adding 1 point for flavor, but perception is a littledifferent..notcing some toffee/vanilla flavors now-12 oz bottle via Liquid Solutions. Pours a semi-clear copper with a small white head. Nose is of vanilla, some floral hops, yeast and ginger. Tastes like it smells, with the vanilla/toffee up front, and finishes with soem bittersweet floral hops. Light/medium body. Medium carbonation. Very refreshing and quaffable. Pretty good session beer and may make a great gateway beer for adventuresome macro-swillers.

Slightly hazed amber/orange body. Off-white creamy full head. Aroma has light orange flowery notes. Very nicely balanced caramel and orange flavors along with some spicy belgian-like yeast hints. I like this session beer.

Pretty standard blonde ale here. Grade for quenching thirst. It’s got some malty flavor. Alright.
