BuckeyeBoy (1635), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 15, 2006 On Tap At Pike Pub & Brewery Seattle. pours out a amber topped with a small white head. A nice light hop aroma. not bad
Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Sep 13, 2006 Bright amber colour. Beautiful fresh grain aroma. Now boys and girls, this is what I want in a nose....something, even if you’re only brewing a stock golden ale. The flavour is lighter, with a more obscure malt character and a light woody bitterness. Good for the style. HopheadHans (753), Bay Area, California, USA Jul 4, 2006 Bottle. A nice session beer just as the description claims. A West Coast style Pale Ale, meaning tyhat it would qualify as IPA on the East Coast. It is nicely balanced with aromas of grapfruit and malts. It is well-hopped and this gives the beer enough complexity. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA May 28, 2006 Thanks to Volgon for sharing. "Naughty" Nelly doesn’t look so much as naughty as she looks aloof. So... Aloof Nelly poured a clear yellow and had a mild hoppy aroma. Some malty was very faintly found, otherwise it was pretty "eh." after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA May 6, 2006 Draft at Bick’s. Clear golden body with a small white head that before long turns into a ghost of lacing on the side of the glass. Very easy to drink--tiny bubbles rising in thin columns; crisp herbal hops on top of a lightweight but very present malt base. The nose is a fragrant, plant-like hop. Very refreshing and good with food. jake65 (1657), Williston, North Dakota, USA Apr 28, 2006 Poured a light amber color that remained very opaque. Small head is gone in an instant. Taste is balanced with citrus, hops, and fruity tones. No real maltiness to speak of. Very smooth to drink and pleasant in the warmer days. JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 20, 2006 Draught Slim off-white head; hazy yellow-orange. C-hops in a discreet way, grapefruit and a hint of cookie dough. Good mix of sweet and fruity acidity - and remarkably little bitterness. Terribly light & watery texture. Need a beef-up of 1- 1.5% ABV and corresponding malt bill to make an excellent drinking ale. Malakin (465), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Mar 22, 2006 Clear amber with a fluffy beige head. Flavour is ok, it’s just a bit weak and boring.
