It is clear gold with an off-white, fizzy head and semi-sticky lacing. The aromas are pretty sweet with a light hop presence. I ddin’t prefer the taste which was perfume with a mild wheat taste and a soapy aftertaste. Something was weird about the aftertaste in general, like hops gone funky. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 27, 2005 Bottle. Really a rather boring ale. The establishment I had this at listed it as an IPA so there may be some letdown there. Lightly constructed. Clear, golden. Decent head. Aroma of light malt and some floral notes. Light bodied. Blended OK for an ale, not IPA. Probably a good choice for a session ale, not one to end the night of drinking with. Fair. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

Lightly spiced hoppy tropical fruit flavor, mild in the finish. Nice respectable refresher. DrunkAsASkunk (847), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 6, 2005 This beer pours a light golden/orange color with a thin white fizzy head and basically zero lacing. The aroma is faint at best with light hops, floral citrus, and hints of sweet malts, not much to it. The flavor is light to medium bodied, somewhat sticky in nature and finish, and generally boring. Bitter mid-sip followed by that classic 2 row malt sweet finish...very faint sweetness, somewhat bready in the finish with a hint of cottonmouth. Hints of orange tang and citrusy florals, but nothing I’d classify as truly interesting. Carbonation levels are light. mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA
