Vertical Bacon Strips (874), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 10, 2009 Dark apricot in colour (crappy description!) and cloudy with a good ammount of small grainy sediment (not sure if that or the cloudiness should be there considering it wasn’t in the other bottle that was opened). Poured a small ammount of white cap but produced decent ropy lacing. Aroma comes across very fruity with some grapefruit, oranges and an unknown pink candy. Good fresh hops. Taste is nothing new or different. Mild hops, sour tartness, mild malts and some heated spice that sneaks in near the end. Mouthfeel is a bit too light but solid bitterness, good carbonation and a tart smacking dry aftertaste help make it decent enough. Seemed a bit too gassy, but nothing that would make you explode. Decent beer that would be really good while sitting in the sun while avoiding yardwork. Cirrhosis (607), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jun 5, 2009 Hazy burnt orange, spotty patches of bubbles float on the top, this beer looks good. Citrusy hops, and a abundance of peppery spices dominate the smell, caramely malts are detectable but seem to get pushed to the back and aren’t as dominant as I would like them to be. Hoptastic flavor, grape fruit hops are abundant but not over powering, caramel tasting malts make up the body of this brew, it also has a candy like sweetness, clean finish with no after taste. Overall very drinkable and is a high quality brew. KnN (712), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Jun 1, 2009 On tap at Pike Brewery. Nice light refreshing summer beer. Good golden color, some light hop character. Finishes clean. Good lawnmower beer. RareBreedTM (7), Hopkinsville, Kentucky, USA does not count May 23, 2009 Tap at The Pike Brewery, Pike Place Market, Seattle, Washington. GREAT ALE!!! Definately a favorite from me. Snojerk321 (1914), San Diego, California, USA May 11, 2009 22oz bottle 5.5% abv from BevMo. Pours a medium mostly clear golden color with a 1 finger thick off white head that diminishes to a small ring leaving nice lacing. Nose of some citrus, light spice, light hops and lingering Belgian yeast. Flavors of citrus and light hops. Crisp refreshing finish, better than I expected. jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands May 7, 2009 Tap@Brewpub. Apricot, peach and light hoppy aroma. Pale yellow colour, off-white head, good lace. Sweetish, light bitter, light floral, fruity. Medium body, soft mouth feel. Refreshing, highly drinkable, well balanced. bennylava (83), California, USA May 3, 2009
22oz bomber. Golden with white head. A very nice blond ale, very refreshing to drink. A little fruit but otherwise clean and dry. rmussman (905), California, USA Apr 10, 2009 Not bad. Pours light golden brown. Pours bubbly but quickly goes away. Overall a little on the sour side from a taste prospective and mouthfeel / palate is decent, but not great.
