Commercial Description:
A mildly hopped beer with a complex malt character, and a soft creamy head. Soft and fruity with light yeast esters of apricot and orange. It is a refreshing and crisp session beer, with just enough hops to balance and round out the sweetness of the malt. 34 IBU 1.048 OG

On tap @ Pike: ClearGolden with medium white head. Sweet caramely malts with slight floral hops. A lingering bitterness but not bracingly so.

Pours bright yellow with foamy white head. Aroma faint wheat/grass. Flavor nice and sweet light flavor without being watery. Perfect for warm day.

12 oz bottle. Deep yellow pour with a miniscule white head. Aroma wheat, grain, biscuity malt, perhaps a bit of fruit. Flavor is very grainy and biscuity with light bits of fruit. Not awful for the style, but not very enjoyable either.

355ml brown bottle. Medium golden colour. Fine bubbled white head, small in size but lasting. Light nose, slight fruit character - orangey. Flavour has light fruity malt, orange hop accents. Some minor hops in the finish, grains, a mild but noticable bitterness, dryish end. Light in body, active carbonation. Drinkable, a little undemanding.

Bottle: I wish I could have been more impressed with this famous Northwest brew, but I wasn’t. It is clear gold with an off-white, fizzy head and semi-sticky lacing. The aromas are pretty sweet with a light hop presence. I ddin’t prefer the taste which was perfume with a mild wheat taste and a soapy aftertaste. Something was weird about the aftertaste in general, like hops gone funky. I now call Naughty Nellies, "Nasty Nellies."

Straw gold coming out or the bottle, small white head, settles to a clean film. Clean glass drawing down, no lacing. A refreshing drink for the warm months of winter, like December in Austin where it is 75 right now as I enjoy this beverage on my back porch with Patek beer and bratwurst. Good pilsener aroma with skuny hoppiness and a little gum. Flavor is reminiscent of a good time. Drink this beer when life is good, save it for when its not.

Deep golden color, small white head. Grassy hop aromatics with a slight grainy note. Mild sweetness melds into a slight bitter hop character. Crisp finish with a hint of estery fruit flavor. Mouthfeel is light.

citrus aroma. Pours a very nice cloudy orange-yellow. chalky malt, some hops, and a slight sour finish. Fairly refreshing and better than alot of blonds out there imo.
