Surprisingly hoppy. Well done and very much a session beer. I have yet to be disappointed by Pike. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Pours a light hazy golden orange with a light foam head and some lace. Fresh hop aroma - quite nice! Bland blonde taste, slightly sour, very bitter. Good carbonation, thin crisp body. Not bad - reminds me a bit of Stella Artois. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 6, 2005 This beer pours a light golden/orange color with a thin white fizzy head and basically zero lacing. The aroma is faint at best with light hops, floral citrus, and hints of sweet malts, not much to it. The flavor is light to medium bodied, somewhat sticky in nature and finish, and generally boring. Bitter mid-sip followed by that classic 2 row malt sweet finish...very faint sweetness, somewhat bready in the finish with a hint of cottonmouth. Hints of orange tang and citrusy florals, but nothing I’d classify as truly interesting. Carbonation levels are light. drismyhero (815), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2002 I think this beer has been slightly underrated. True, there is a biting hoppiness that is quickly dissipating, but there is a lot of flavor here. There is a quick flash of citrus that may be mistaken for weak hops. This melds into a pleasant floral maltiness that sits nicely on the palate. I’ve grown a lot more attatched to this beer through the six pack, and I urge anyone who rates this to do so after a few of them, and over an adequate period of time. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2005 Fruity nose, toffe and butter hints; pears, grapefruit; initially sweet, full of caramel, ends a tad dry and bitter with musty hopping; nice balance, decent brew Bradrcr (781), Renton, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 22, 2009 12/10/08 from the bottle. Aroma is strangely almost identical to Honey Nut Cheerios, dominated by caramel and light noble hops. Appearance is slightly hazy yellow with a medium maintained white head. Flavor is sweet candilike malt forward with a grainy but light bittering. Mouthfeel is also slightly grainy. Overall, simple but somehow not easy drinking. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 13, 2003 Hopppy, slightly citrus aroma, not cloudy in the least, amber color, nice white head, the flavor is based primarily on hops, which is good, but it could use a little something more, all and all its pretty ok.
