Aroma of light sweet fruit (green apples, young passion fruit), wheat, and a pinch of hops. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is definately there, middle is where it starts to unravel, finish is gone completely off the palate and is extremely dry. Not bad, below sessioner class in my book though. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 4, 2006 Bottle. A nice session beer just as the description claims. A West Coast style Pale Ale, meaning tyhat it would qualify as IPA on the East Coast. It is nicely balanced with aromas of grapfruit and malts. It is well-hopped and this gives the beer enough complexity. KnN (751), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA

"Naughty" Nelly doesn’t look so much as naughty as she looks aloof. So... Aloof Nelly poured a clear yellow and had a mild hoppy aroma. Some malty was very faintly found, otherwise it was pretty "eh." Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2009 A nice goldn yellow beer with a small carbonationhead that coats the side of the sampler glass as you drink. Smells doughy, yeasty ans a lil sweet. Nice little nonoffensive beer. Flavors more hops than aroma, which is still next to nothing. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Hazy burnt orange, spotty patches of bubbles float on the top, this beer looks good. Citrusy hops, and a abundance of peppery spices dominate the smell, caramely malts are detectable but seem to get pushed to the back and aren’t as dominant as I would like them to be. Hoptastic flavor, grape fruit hops are abundant but not over powering, caramel tasting malts make up the body of this brew, it also has a candy like sweetness, clean finish with no after taste. Overall very drinkable and is a high quality brew.
