Thin with an obscure peppery flavour. Should have had it before, rather than after the 2 big He’Brews. bb (2937), Martinez, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear golden color with a thin and foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Mild hops and grass in the nose. Light-bodied with a light hoppy character, with notes of malt and hay. The finish is floral hops with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Average overall. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Fruity hoppy aroma with a almost smoked finish, maybe im just imagining it. Taste is smooth and fruity spiced with a good balance, very drinkable, with some nice subtle hops in the finish. after4ever (2828), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 6, 2006 Draft at Bick’s. Clear golden body with a small white head that before long turns into a ghost of lacing on the side of the glass. Very easy to drink--tiny bubbles rising in thin columns; crisp herbal hops on top of a lightweight but very present malt base. The nose is a fragrant, plant-like hop. Very refreshing and good with food. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 10, 2005 An ale for lovers of extremely thin-bodied, metallic beers. It’s got quite a bit of hop bite, but its most notable trait is the massive LACK of MALT! Remarkably so. I almost wondered at first if the beer was infected because it’s so fizzy (I’ve concluded it probably isn’t). Lots of citrus and spice here. Crisp and probably refreshing if you go for this sort of very dry, fizzy, citrus-brew. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Tap at Pike Brewery. Pours a golden shade with a moderate haze. Aroma is that of light malt with a bit of citrus/floral hops. Light and sweet, perhaps a tad fruity and bready with a nice crisp, light bitter finish. Rather light body with medium carbonation. An enjoyable brew. Aubrey (2781), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2004 Light amber in color. Moderate carbonation; somewhat light-bodied, but not necessarily watery. Bready malts were pleasant. Slightly fruity hops and a healthy amount of bitterness balanced things out nicely. Tasty and easy-drinking beer.
