This caramel colored APA has a feint, albeit pleasant, malt/hop aroma scheme. The beer is smooth, but watery--washing gently away the mildly fruity overtones.

Huge head. Hazy dark amber beer. Organic and pepper aroma. Thin with an obscure peppery flavour. Should have had it before, rather than after the 2 big He’Brews.

Draught sampler at the brewpub. Light golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is fresh but simple. Body is creamy. Flavour of grainy malt and light herbal hops with some citrus rind. Could be a decent session beer, but I expect I’d get bored of it after a couple of pints.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of malt and piney hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Draft at Pike, Seattle, WA. White small head that was mostly lasting, decent amount of lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a yellow hue. Nose was malty, moderately hoppy and sweet. Flavor was crisp, malty and moderately hoppy. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Quaffable, decent brew for the style.

Draft at brewpub. Pours amber golden with a white head. Aroma of wet grains and fruity esters. Medium bodied with a crisp refreshing texture. Initial flavor of pale malts and apple countered by a sharp grassy bitterness. Very astringent like character on the finish.
