Aroma of the hops, sweet malt, a bit or a hint of pineapple? Start is sweet and loaded with malt, the top skimpy in feel, finish is lightly acidic, the hops present but mild, dry aftertaste, not sure this beer will get much from me, seems a bit thin-waisted as in watery.

Now boys and girls, this is what I want in a nose....something, even if you’re only brewing a stock golden ale. The flavour is lighter, with a more obscure malt character and a light woody bitterness. Good for the style. Indra (2036), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Lightly malty and sweet aroma, some pale grainy notes and faint sugars, a touch of floral hops here as well. Clear pale golden color with an uneven, fine, white head. Flavor is predominantly grainy maltiness, this showing from start to finish, along with a twinge of spicy bitterness and acidic citrus. Some white bread, honey and lightly floral touches here. Finish is fairly dry, clean and snappy with lingering herbal touches. For the style, really not bad. heykevin (1269), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Some mild bready malt with a late kiss of hops. Low carbonation. (not necessarily a bad thing. ) Merc (313), Pullman, Washington, USA

Nothing to get excited about, but probably a decent beer to have after mowing the lawn. Troobie99 (60), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2002 This is a credible but slightly failed experiment--to create a session ale that satisfies someone who’d rather be drinking an IPA. They’ve tried to give it hop punch, a little body and malt, while keeping the alcohol down. It almost works. The hops are definitely present, a nice peppery zip, and the malt is trying--if not succeeding--at holding up its end. The whole thing finishes badly, though, with a hollow, tinny flavor, the hops fading to an unpleasantly harsh note with nothing to hold them up. schm1005 (150), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 31, 2002 Mild aroma that is very clean. More grain than hops in the aroma. It is a crystal clear beer with a light amber shade to it with a light head. It tastes very light with the malt complexity shining over any minimal hoppiness that this beer possesses. Palate is a little disappointing. There are no noticable changes in flavor as the aftertaste comes in. It is so easy drinking though. I could drink five of them without breaking a sweat. This beer is a non-descript ale. I enjoy drinking it when playing Asshole or when I just need to take it easy and kill the pain after work. It still delivers the requisite buzz even though it tastes fairly light. I like this beer but Nelly is not the Naughtiest gal I’ve ever met.
