Clear golden orange with a 1/2 finger white head, fading to a fing and thin film rather quickly. More hops than I’d expected--pine and florals with some biscuity malts and honey in the background. Flavor was pretty much the same with the moderate hop presence turning more piney, and plenty of sweet biscuity malts and honey on the malt end. Bitterness peaked around a 3 1/2 in the back corners of my tongue. Low carbonation with a light body. I’m going to mirror Naven’s comment that I was pleasantly surprised, and would have no problem sessioning this for a night. sandygoonie (27), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a medium mostly clear golden color with a 1 finger thick off white head that diminishes to a small ring leaving nice lacing. Nose of some citrus, light spice, light hops and lingering Belgian yeast. Flavors of citrus and light hops. Crisp refreshing finish, better than I expected. bitbucket (2035), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Draft at Pike Pub, Seattle. Pours a clear, bright amber with a lacy white head. Inviting peach and citrus aroma. Light body and medium carbonation. A bit of toffee in the taste. Dry pine finish that is also a bit grainy. The bitterness builds a bit as I get closer to the bottom of the glass. duffman462 (162), Gainesville, Florida, USA

Aroma is strangely almost identical to Honey Nut Cheerios, dominated by caramel and light noble hops. Appearance is slightly hazy yellow with a medium maintained white head. Flavor is sweet candilike malt forward with a grainy but light bittering. Mouthfeel is also slightly grainy. Overall, simple but somehow not easy drinking. asheft (1438), Marburg, Germany
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 3, 2005 Orangish straw, hazy, with a bubbly, white cover. Spicy citrus aroma with watermelon and a bit spicy, melanoidin malt. American hops come out first in the flavour, but are not overwhelming and definitely not grassy or salty. Next a well balancing caramel malt surfaces. They call this a session beer and I’d agree that it goes down very easy, but there’s no lack of flavour. Low bitterness at the very end. Peach and clove notes. Light to medium body with low carbonation and an tiny bite of astringency in the lingering hop bitterness. Excellent but not a whole lot to it. tronraner (1933), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with dense, attractive white head. The aroma is somewhat floral, with some assertive yeasty tones of fruits and cotton candy. The flavor is mild tangerine, honey, and soft florality. Some hops come and go. The finish is sweet and slightly doughy, but it gives to some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad for what it is.
