Strong brown sugar and molasses smell--very rich aroma.
Excellent blend of flavors--slightly sweet, strong alcohol with a good kick of hop bitterness at the end. Yet, the swallow has a fortified wine air to it. Bittersweet aftertaste. Rich liquor as expected. GMCC2181 (856), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

Small head that faded quickly, nice dark red color. Sugary/Malty aroma. Also some nice hops shine through. Taste is malty, touch of fruits, hops, light smoke and even some moss notes. Not thick in texture but definelty above average... Well balanced and easy to sip on. Thanks Eric. Tmoney99 (4718), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured hazy orange copper color with a moderate frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate fruity, earthy and small caramel malty aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and flat carbonation. Moderate to heavy prune bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration.
This is a complex standout beer. Zinister (1199), Houston, Texas, USA

Big hop dominant aroma with hints of smoke and caramel. Thick mouth feel with lots of malt, but grapefruit style hops are still very dominant after two years. Bitterness has dyed down a little, seems like the perfect time to drink this. ditmier (1059), Boise, Idaho, USA
