Poured a cloudy gold with off white head. Sweet malty aroma with slight aroma hops for a slight floral scent.
Taste was sweet malt and alcohol spice. Overall, a very nice beer.....would have again.

Jul 7, 2009 2007 bottle courtesy of ericandersnavy. Pours a hazy dark amber color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, brown sugar, bready yeast, floral hops, honey, grass. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of caramel, wood, floral hops, butterscotch, honey, spice. Generally medium body with a pleasing malty floral hop finish.

Aroma: Strong aroma with caramel, and hops in the nose.
Appearance: Amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: A good amount of malts and hops this was a very nice barley wine.
Palate: Sweet with a dry finish.
Overall: A very nice brew this was one of the better beers for the night.

Nov 27, 2008 Good barley wine. Little alcohol/boozy flavor but little cherry flavor too. Pretty sweet though but I guess that’s OK. Very drinkable & smooth.

May 27, 2009 Deep dirty brown pour with tan head. Aromas of hops, caramel and darker fruits. Flavor is the same with a nice hop presence.
