| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Medium body, with a deeper color. This beer was a bit sour. Perhaps it was aged too long. Lubiere (4529), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2009 A dark amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, restrained hops, heavier on caramel malt. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with butterscotch, veering on an Irish Red, nutty, German like hops. Interesting. On tap at brewpub, Sept. 12 2009. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2009 Good light hop aroma. The flavor is pretty normal for the style, but as hoppy as I’d expected. gracefullypunk (316), Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Pours a light amber with a thin head and some lace. Barely any smell, just a hint of citrus and caramel. Taste is mild with some toasted malt and slight bitterness. bulldogops (158), Alberta, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 12, 2009 Bottle. 5.3%. Clear amber pour, deep copper/red with a weak tan head, little retention. Aroma was nutty, and sweet malts. Taste was very grainy and bland. Not extremely hoppy at all, a lot of malt and grain in the taste, but fairly smooth on the finish. A drinkable ale, but nothing that stands out. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2009 I got more malt and less hops than I would have liked. Orange color with a white head. Aroma of earthy pine tree scent. Flavor is sweet with a dry finish. I guess it is balanced, but I’m not sure that anything stands out about this one.
