Crafty07 (328), Lexington, Kentucky, USA May 15, 2008 On tap from Pike Place Brewery on Pike Street in Seattle, WA.
This is one delicious "American Pale Ale" which usually brings what the description lists as "an assertive hop character’ to bear along with great floral aroma and attractive copper color.
This is an impressive beer and should be enjoyed by anyone who happens upon downtown Seattle area.
Davecooks (1126), Bay Area, California, USA May 24, 2008 Bottle. Hazy, burnt copper color with an ivory head. Grainy, toasted malt aroma. Sweet and malty with a fruity yeastiness. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 20, 2008 I think i may have enjoyed this more then the IPA- Pours a dark copper colour with a full white head. Aroma is hoppy, floral with soft citrus fruit. hops are well integrated and smooth. finishes a bit dry with a hint of straweberries. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada May 20, 2008 Amber body with small head. Aroma is some citrus hops and bready malts, rather light. Some caramel malts upfront and some dry bittering hops throughout. Nothing great but very decent. Dogbrick (2147), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 16, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear dark amber color with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily. Patchy lacing. The aroma is hoppy with an underlying sweet malt. Medium-bodied with hops, caramel malt and citrus flavors. The finish is moderately hoppy with notes of citrus and pale malt in the aftertaste. Above average overall.
