seguramente la mejor de pike. se le pone la tandem, por ser brown ale que me gusta, pero esta combina malta y hops bien.

Very roasty aroma and flavour, charred and a little earthy. Bitter chocolate and a hint of fruit (yeast?). Smooth and full-bodied, with medium sweetness. Finish is quite dry. This plays more like a foreign stout in my mind, but who cares... it’s awesome! Rune (2787), Tromsø, Norway

Pitch black body under a brownish, lacing-head. Smell of roasted coffee beans overlaid by moderately sweet malts. Powerful and well balanced taste of dark chocolate, anise, burnt coffee and hops – all added a vanilla touch. Bittersweet ending. Medium to full bodied. IBU 65 [Tromsø, 29.01.2009]. (and Old Mr Crow who sent me a bomber in the past that I drank without rating) Pours dark brown with a medium head. Aroma is roasted dark malt and coffee. Taste is dry with a big, roasty flavor and good natural coffee flavor in the malt. A very fine sessionable stout that I wish I could buy closer to me. killjoy966 (219), Washington, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Courtesy of tpd975. Pours deep darkness with nice mocha head. The aroma is licorice, mild burnt molasses, hints of coffee, chocolate, burnt malts and just a bit of toffee. The taste starts roasty and chocolate and then becomes a bit astringent with roasted malts drying things out. A modest level of sweet dark fruity esters persists in the background. It ends roasty with a hint of chocolate. Very nice. sebletitje (1903), Tampa, Florida, USA
