Aug 3, 2008 Cask at Kingston BF, 28th June 2008, with renffisch. Very, very dark brown and completely still. Dried apricot and liquorice aroma. Fruity, sweet malt flavour and a soft, quite full palate. A decent dark mild.

Jul 4, 2008 cask @ kingston bf 08. strange fermented fruit/berry nose with a touch of petrochemicals. hazy darkest brown, thin off-white rim. Sweet malty flavour with a bit of liqorice and still fruity, quite watery though with a cardboard finish. fairly well balanced but wasn’t too impressed.

May 1, 2008 A Mes rate: Cask at the Trafalgar.
Dark cloudy brown with a thin off white head and good condition. Big berry fruit aroma with a bit of tar and liquorice. A good smell. Flavour is more of the same but even better. Plenty of character and a lovely balance between the liquorice and the fruit. Nice lingering chocolate at the finish. Fantastic mouthfeel for a mild. Drinks above it’s strength. An adorable mild.
