Thin hoppy flavor, grassy and with a onedimensional bitter finish., This beer has lost so much compared to the original Urquel. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 27, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Slightly floral hoppiness in the aroma. Fairly light-bodied - but not exactly thin - with clean, malty notes and a light, floral, hoppy finish. Even in this weaker version it’s still a nice beer. 210906 bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 24, 2006 Bottle. Light golden in colour with almost no head. Feels very metallic and sterile. Sharp mouthfeel. Grassy and malty. Very boring. Ungstrup (15382), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 23, 2006 An orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and malt, and the flavor is sweet malty combined with a light cardboard note. I find the flavor a bit boring, and the body thin (no wonder). voota (765), Melbourne, Australia
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Crystal clear golden with a small white head which soon settles to nothing. Little aroma, some saaz, but nothing on the original. The same apples with the flavour and body... thin, and giving a little of what the real beer has, without the dryness. There are better 3.5*s out there. oh6gdx (9102), Vasa, Finland
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Bottled. Golden colour, big creamy white head. Aroma of hops and butter. Flavour is hoppy and a bit sweetish. Like a watered down version on the normal Urquell. One of the better 3,5% beers in Sweden though. omhper (12298), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 1, 2006 [Bottled] Golden, brief head. Oily saaz hop aroma. Medium dry with decent body. Evident Urquell flavour. Hops actually gets the upper hand on water, which is rare among Swedish supermarket beer. Medium bitterness. TBone (6844), Pori, Finland

Clear golden color, decent creamy white head. Same Saaz-hoppy/buttery nose than in normal version, but much more lighter. Flavor is also watered down, but still quite drinkable. One of the best "Swedish" 3.5-beers around.
