Storm (2677), Amager, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 Hazy brown colour with a little head. Light aroma of malt and caramel. Flavour of bitter hops, caramel, and malt. Ends up bitter.
TheGrandMaster (1406), Auckland, New Zealand Mar 30, 2008 Many moons ago I remember this being served in pints(!) on draught at the original Malthouse on Willis St in Wellington. This rating comes from just the bottled version (a mere 330mls), pouring a cola-like brown with a frothy light beige head. A sweet but light malty aroma, toffee and spiced notes. A pretty light mouthfeel for its 7%, the caramal malt palate carries with it stewed fruit and tangy flavours, with an increasing salty and sour hop presence in the bittering finish. Dangerounsly easy to drink.... KimJohansen (2460), Copenhagen V, Denmark Mar 26, 2008 Hazy dark amber with small off white head. Sweet aroma with fruity and caramel notes.
