Copper coloured beer with a thick creamy white head. Aroma is quite malty, caramel, toffee, and a touch of vanilla. Light spicy hops. Flavour is semi-sweet, with vanilla, toffee, and a creamy toasted malt character. Light apricot fruitiness as well.

some pretty damn good yeast they've got going there. sweet stonefruit aroma. hint of butterscotch schnapps and then some pepperiness and a slow bitter finish with some self raising flour

pure enjoyment from this brewery. Well hopped, malt, great with a multi-course supper. Quite drinkable and complex. Sadly the last of 5 great beers from this region brought back by Douglas D

Thanks to Sammy for this rare beer. Sampled with Tim and Rudy. Vinous, alcoholic, fruity aroma. Kind of smells like fermented cow corn ethanols. Moderately hazy copper color with a whitish head. Very tea-like flavor to start, turning sweeter and caramelly.

Thanks to Sammy. Nose has tea and orange, sweetish malt. Flavor has orange, bread, malt, tea-like. A solid English Pale - I’d like to try this one fresh.

Copper color, slight haze, cream colored head. Fruity malt and hops go well together, orangy along with some bready flavors. Medium bodied. Pretty nice.

tastes pretty much identical to fullers 1845 to me, a real fruitcakey beer if ever there was one. yummy combination of dry firm malt and heaps of spicy dry hop taste - did i mention the word dry in that sentence? bitter but balanced. lots of pepper in finish. real good.

Dark copper colour with a well formed off-white head. Butterscotch aroma. Rich caramel malt flavour followed by some chewy hop flavour and bitterness before a quick, clean finish. Fairly thin on the palate, as with all of their beers.
